The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage tour in the Hindu religion of four holy places which are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. All these four places are located in Gharwal region of Uttarakhand. This complete circuit holy place is believed to be the door of salvation (moksha) in the Hindu religion. All four places are dedicated to different gods like Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Gangotri and Yamunotri are snouts of both holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna respectively which are considered as goddesses. Apart from the religious point these places also have amazing scenic beauty. This tour can be covered by road or with a helicopter ride.
