Standing high with an altitude of 7120 m, Trishul is a group of three peaks, Trishul I, Trishul II, and Trishul III run north to south where Trishul I is the highest with 7120 m, then 6690 m and 6007  m respectively. These three peaks together form the shape of a trident that is why it is named after the trident/Trishul of Lord Shiva in Hindi.
